Measuring your Frame
We supply two sets of measurements to make sure your frame will fit the way you want it. The first is a set of four numbers, measured in millimeters, used in the industry, and often stamped on the frame. Example: 55-20-140-48, the first number is the width of the lens, the second the width of the bridge, the third the entire length of the temple, and the last (not always used) is the height of the lens. The second measurements we give are in inches and can easily be measured on your current frame. Across the front is the total width of your frame from hinge to hinge. The second measurement is from the front of the frame along the temple to the point it bends down around the ear. We encourage you to check the measurements in the listings and the measurements of your current frame to assure yourself of a good fit. Please contact us if you have any questions. |
